Report from the Headteacher
Sunrise junior school is in place with a very firm, skillful, cooperative and God fearing administration which doesn't focus on personal interests but aims at serving the community with sound education and solid faith fetching our boldness from the fact that we follow the current curriculum. The broader elements of curriculum for excellence are embedded in the work of the school and we now have to spend time on developing our systems to ensure we get the best values from both our teachers and from our learners by ensuring optimum time is given over to actual learning and teaching and not to paper work. We have to ensure every one is being given the best chances they can get to achieve success in a broad yet deep curriculum. We do mid-term tests from top class above and these show if pupils continue to make progress and also giving us indications of areas of excellence and of need.
A word from the Director
Sunrise Junior School is a Christian founded institution that was established in February 2024 Academic Year (AY), after years of praying and divising means of getting funds to start the long envisioned project that God had told us to start for the past 4years. The intentions of the project is to upbring a learned generation that is also morally upright with Godly values for a reformed God-fearing generation. We are doing this through following the most recent curriculum and engaging our children in Godly programs. We also envision to extend education and the gospel to as many needy people as we can reach through scholarships programs to secure for them a bright future as well. Today the project is still in it's initial stages which makes it a challenge for us to execute most of our goals and aspirations but with God We believe and hope for development and progress in the right appointed time for with God all things are possible.
